A relaxed, in-depth video call where I get to know you as a couple, your story, your aesthetic sensibility, your priorities and your vision for your European wedding. This is the foundation everything else is built on.
Proposal & Vision Board
I send a personalised planning proposal with recommended service, scope and investment. Once confirmed, I develop an initial vision board and begin venue research tailored entirely to your aesthetic and destination.
Planning, Design & Curation
The heart of the process: venue selection, vendor curation, design direction, budget management and all logistics, handled with meticulous attention to detail. Regular check-ins keep you informed and excited throughout.

Planning a destination wedding in Europe from abroad raises a lot of questions. Here are the ones I hear most often.
How far in advance should we start planning a destination wedding in Europe?
I recommend reaching out at least 12–18 months before your intended date, particularly for peak season (May–October) in Italy and France, when the most sought-after venues book out quickly. That said, I occasionally have capacity for weddings with a shorter lead time, it's always worth an inquiry.
How does planning work across different time zones?
I have built my entire planning process around serving international couples. We communicate primarily via video call (scheduled to suit your timezone), supported by a shared planning platform, email and messaging. Regular check-ins ensure you always feel informed and in control, regardless of where you are in the world.
Can we legally get married in Italy, France or Germany as Americans?
Yes, but the process and requirements vary by country and, in some cases, by region. I guide all my couples through the legal requirements specific to their destination, including the necessary documentation, timelines and any legal paperwork needed. Many couples also choose to have a legal ceremony at home and a symbolic or blessing ceremony in Europe.
What does a destination wedding in Europe typically cost?
Destination wedding budgets vary enormously depending on guest count, location and the level of service and design you're seeking. I work with couples across a range of budgets, and during our discovery call I provide honest, transparent guidance on what is achievable within your investment. As a general guide, fine art destination weddings in Italy and France typically begin at €35,000+.
Do you work exclusively with American couples?
Not exclusively, I work with international couples from around the world who are planning destination weddings in Europe. However, I have a particular specialism in serving American couples, with a deep understanding of the expectations, aesthetic preferences and logistical considerations that come with planning from the United States.
Will you be on-site on our wedding day?
Yes, for all full planning and partial planning packages, I am personally present on your wedding day from setup through to the final farewell. On-the-day coordination is also available as a standalone service for couples who have planned their own wedding and want a dedicated professional on-site.
